The Original Pronto Pup
Legend has it that a great rain ruined a man's dinner. He was hoping to have a hot dog on a delicious bun, however, the bun didn't make it. The man got creative and quickly created a delicious batter. The rapid pace of creation, and cooking, of this delectable dish helped earn it's name as the "pronto pup!"
A variety of pups available, paired with friendly service and the novelty of being the origin of the corndog make Pronto Pup a MUST-VISIT destination when visiting Rockaway Beach!

Mechanical Riding Corndog
You won't want to miss out on this. Not only is this simply cool, it's the only place you can ride a mechanical corndog.... in the world.
Visitor Information Center
At the wayside, you will find the red caboose. Staffed by friendly volunteers who love visitors.
Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce
In addition to talking to friendly volunteers, our thoughtful Chamber has beach wheelchairs available to rent. We love having accessible beaches!
The Big Tree Boardwalk
The real name is the Old Growth Cedar Trail, but locals affectionately refer to this marvel as the big tree boardwalk, with good reason. At the end of the boardwalk you'll find a very BIG tree and it's worth the walk.
Old Growth Cedar Trail
The big tree boardwalk is enveloped in native plant life throughout the summer season. Once you're on the boardwalk, you forget you're actually in the City.
Garibaldi
Just south of Rockaway Beach the town of Garibaldi hosts a marina, food carts, and great local shopping and restaurants.
Wayside Pirateship Park
At the wayside in the center of town sits the perfect little park for families to enjoy an oceanview while letting the kids have some time to run around!
